Hi, I don't post in the DBP section because I think my problem is specific to the FPS source code.

When I want apply a shader effect on an entity directly in the source code, it works only with the non-AI entities

I have this :

I think it's because the model is animated, someone can help me please ?

Thanks.

Now that looks pretty psychedelic. I'm no shader expert so unfortunately I can't help you here. Hopefully bond1 will drop by and give you a hand.

Are you do this through the source?

If so then there is no need, as you can apply shaders using the 'effects' field. I had something just like that not to long ago, and never had any problems.

I've tried the default command, it works only with non animated model, but I'm searching with the TGC's code, but I've not found yet.

"set object effect". It's in DBP.

Well you could try;
SET RAINBOW SHADING ON Object Number, Rainbow Image
If you really needed it to be done in DB.

Or you could just set the effect field inside FPSC (see screenie attached).

In fact, I want apply a shader when a key is pressed, I try to make a thermal vision that can be enbaled and disabled.

And I prefer use my own shader, so I can use others shaders, and I can find better shaders, or shaders for an other vision.

Thanks

I think there is a difference between a charactershader and an objectshader, it has something to do with the bones.

... It's highly possible, because in the source code the default shader work withs bones, I'll try it.

I don't understand ... I've just tried again and it works o_O

Thanks for your help

Edit : I found why, it's because if I apply my shader on an AI that already has a shader, it doesn't work, so I must apply only ONE shader, I believed my shader replaced the old.
