Created temporary file C:\WINDOWS\Temp\dbp2E.tmp
Writing project file C:\WINDOWS\Temp\Temp.dbpro
Compiling C:\Program Files\darkbasic\Projects\3d cribbage\3d cribbage.exe (current directory is C:\WINDOWS\Temp\)
Cleaning up
Compilation Failed (No exe created)

This is what I get for every debug test run of a program I am working on.I do not understand why my c:\windows\temp file is even involved in the process.
Several times after a long debug session I find several hundred
dbp temp files in this directory. Shouldn't dbp clean up any temp files it creates?
How does c:\windows\temp\ become the current directory

My real question I guess is: Have I made some mistake in my instal ation of dbp. ie:c:\program files\ Dark Basic\
or is this just one of those things about dbp I will have to live with!
I do get tired of sending all these temp files to the trash and then I have to empty the trash.
Do any of you have the same problem?

Thanks
Neco

Logic would dictate Windows should be responsible for flushing its own Temp directory, but it's Windows so...

Anyway if you want a more streamlined method of cleaning it out go to

Start->Accessories->System Tools-> Disk Cleanup

One of the check boxes will be for Temp Files
