Ok, its been a couple days since I bought FPSC now and I just wanted to ask the community about the things I don't quite understand. To start this out I do not have any mods (yet) and I am running v1.6. Ok here goes.

1)Scripts: Now I haven't taken the time to even look to see how to script yet. I see on character entities there are 4 spots to put scripts. You have start, main, destroy, and shoot. Ok lets say I make a waypoint. I change the main script to follow and the entity follows. When it clearly sees me it continues to walk. So I changed the shoot script to chase. Nothin. So I changed the start script to follow, main script back. Nothin. Could someone exlain to me exactly what start, main, destroy, and shoot are.

2)Changing stats: Ok, I know how to change health, speed, all that jazz but I'm stuck on things like weapon power, bullet distance, and accuracy. When you make a gun entity I see how to change its power but when you start with a gun or give an enemy a gun I'm not sure and would like to know.

Well I guess thats all for now. My next day off I hope to start learning the language and how different mods work. Thanks in advance.

Well, for number 2, you change the values in the gunspec.

Go into your FPSC folder, open Files>Gamecore>guns>group of guns you wish to edit> gun name. In there is a txt file called the gunspec. You can edit any values there.

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

@Nickydude:
I didn't think about that when I made this post. I will keep that in mind next time I have to post for help.
