What are the limitations -- map size, number of players, duration of game, etc. -- of multiplayer games with the current FPSC build? Is FPSC currently only able to support multiplayer arena matches?

Map size is 40x40. Number of players, I believe, is up to 8; more with Project Blue. Time durations do not have a limit, etc. And yes, you can only have arena matches at this time, because enemy AI (online co-op) is not yet possible in FPS Creator.

A couple other limitations are, no dynamic entities, (you can get around some by making a single player map, then changing preferences to multiplayer.), no flak weapons, grenades,rockets ect..., Only one map. ( If you buy FPSC IP, it allows you to have multiple maps.) No team deathmatch, ctf, ect..., ( some mods will let you create these.) Hopefully 1.17 will have some of these features.

So you are saying here, that MP, no flak weapons, grenades,rockets ect, is this even without any of the mods?

Thanks for the info.! I guess it's best for me to think of my project as an arena scenario as opposed to an RPG scenario. That said...

With mutiplayer arena games... (this may be an FPSC IP question)

Can one arena match map/session with 8 players be set to start automatically after the end of a match? Also, can players enter and exit the matches at will or only at the beginning/end of a match?

Looks like I'll need to look into FPSC IP more...

Ok, I just read FPSC IP's site. It looks very good, but I hope to one day soon to find a multiplayer server lobby that will automate game starts.
