I created a small shallow pool entity, and I want it to sound like water when you walk through it. What I've been trying is "materialindex"x"="x". Looking at the segment sounds, it seems that number 5 is the water sound, so I tried "materialindex5 =5", but this seems to do nothing. I thought, "well it must have to be a segment", so I made it a segment, but it still won't work. I've searched the forums, and the docs, but still can't get it to work. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or how to do this?
Any help wuld be appreciated.
Thanks

The material index number for 'Water' in FPSC is '6'

I'm not sure why you are getting no sound at all though.

Hope this helps and all the best of luck.

Thanks Ross
The line "materialindex0 =6" worked on the segment, but not the entity. I am leaving to another engine, but just thought I would tie up loose ends, as I posted this, right before I saw the FPSC migration update, and decided to abandon ship.Maybe it will help some other person.

No charger bandit, it is 'materialindex0 =', take a look at a segments fps file.
