Just a couple of questions that have been brought up in the Alpha test of a game I'm making.

1. When in a room, you can go to the wall and activate the entity on the wall in the next room (opening fridge, pull hand towel ect.) is there a way to stop this until you are looking at the item?

2. I have a waterfall scene in a bathroom, you can hear the water falling from a few levels up, is there any way to block that sound when you're not in the area of the bathroom?

3. A lot of gamers (myself included)like to ALT & TAB out of the game from time to time, maybe for screenshots or to check controls but when you do it your mouse is stuck in the middle of the screen. Is there any fix to that?

I think that's about it for now

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you can limit it to when you are looking at it, but if you edit the script to make it so the player has to be closer before activating it should stop it happening through walls.

Delete the sound from the entity and then use a sound zone with the waterfall sound in. That way you can control exactly where the sound can be heard from.

Not that I know of. You'll just have to use a screen capture program.

some mods (i know horror mod does) does this with some entities, i think its hard coded in tho.

as Thraxas said, use a sound zone for a few squares or just the room.

an easy way to do this (in built games tho) press escape then alt tab, that will un-lock the mouse.
