You'd need a mac probably anyway.

The Game Creators make the games for iphone aswell as thier software for making DirectX games. They don't sell iphone development software.

I would hope they would consider integrating some basic 2D development tools into DBPro, or putting out a plugin in the future.

Obviously I have no idea what kind of work that entails, but it would seem like a good potential for increasing their business as I'm sure there are folks here and elsewhere interested in developing games for mobile platforms.

There are plenty of 2d commands for DBPro.

Yes I know, I worded my post poorly.

In reference to coding for mobile platforms, getting that ability into DBPro, along with some specialized stuff perhaps that would work good on the phones, for 2D programming.

This is what I meant

DarkBASIC Pro uses DirectX, and phones don't run DirectX, so it would probably have to be a new, separate product.

Also, I believe it is no longer allowed to develop apps for the iPhone in anything other than C/C++/Obj-C. So that rules out any BASIC syntax iPhone development tool.
