For those of you who missed it, a Chicago judge has decided that Creed doesn't suck:

I used to like Creed way back when first album came out but then I heard Scott Stapp speaking about politics and music and religion, when I thought to myself "this guy is a jackass"...
Then him and Fred Durst were talking smack back and forth, and the rock station here was fanning the flames by having them each on phone interviews, talking about each other. Then they were going to box each other....ACK! Shut up jackasses and make music! I wanted to smack both of their jaws friggin' loose, if you know what I'm sayin'

pah, 10years ago it'd of been weird for a rock group to go onstage sober ... always found it made gigs more interesting
but then again by the 3 or 4 song almost the entire audience would be just as wasted and it'd seem good

never been a big creed fan, they done a few alright things but nothing to warrent the "superstar" treatment from a judge, guess he was a fan.
but then i mean c'mon still pretty rich and pretty famous, ergo this is hardly unheard of - just think if the case was here in Cali the judge would've just asked if the plantiff was smoking something before trying to raise the charge

on a lighter and musically better note, the demo tracks from Evanescenes new album were recently released. Certainly is sounding sweet, apart from that phone tone thing ... for me it just kinda ruins the whole vibe of the track

Creed are practically dead in the water anyway, just like all these other 'next big things' from a couple of years ago. I feel sorry the fans - you go to see one of your favourite bands and they suck so bad that you have to sue!. That's why I only go to see older bands that have a history of kicking ass on a live stage.

I reckon Scott is one of the most arrogant people in the industry, he won't sign autographs, rarely does interviews - and his voice is a poor copy of Eddie Vedders (Pearl Jam - propper live band). Not that Fred Durst much better, but at least he makes an effort. Fred would kick Scotts ass though, hell I could kick Scotts ass! - let's start a 'I could kick Scott Stapps ass' club, with tee-shirts, caps, and fridge magnets.

I kinda like Limps new single (Eat You Alive), Fred's certainly lost weight! - he used to be a right fat bast', but there best song ever is 'Break Stuff'. I can't remember any songs on the Creed album that made me wanna listen to it again.

They definatly should have gotten a refund for that. That's pretty ridiculous.

Often singers whose albums seem great will be awful on stage. The fact is that their songs on albums are pieced together in studios from the best parts of several different performances and edited extensively until they're 'perfect'-- on stage they don't get a chance like that.

I remember seeing Jesicca Andrews in concert... she stopped singing 4 times because there was some kind of moth around the stage and she was scared of bugs . I kind of understand that of course-- it was a bloody massive moth-- but really, it's not like it was her first tour or anything.

Luckily she was just a warm-up act
