Hi all. I've been thinking about learning to make games on and off for about the last year an dit keeps coming back as something i'd really like to do.

The big question is how do I go about getting started? I have a copy of DBpro and I am also fairly familiar with Blender. I want to be able to make a few little 2D arcade style games for practise before moving onto 2.5D with the end goal eventually being to be able to one day create a top down RPG ala Baldur's Gate.

Thanks in advance for any help given.

Dan
