EDIT- sorry if they look slow, they're GIFs. they run at 20 FPS in flash. also, they are inspired by Mirror's Edge 2d, and I wanted to make them look like those anims, but I didn't do a very good job

roll animation. this one is in 3 parts incase this little movie project ever becomes a game, the land-roll transfer, the still frame that encompasses roll and lowcrouch, and the roll/crouch-run/jump/anything else transfer.

one thing that is important is having the "base frame" be observed in all animations for games. the "base frame" is what I call the average grid position of all limbs at the start and end of the animations. this helps animations appear smoother because they all have starts and ends close to the same place
