I have loaded the Dark basic Games files from the CD onto my hard drive. How do I now access the games - there are no .dba files?

Do you mean the exaples?
In that case go to the Dark Basic folder under C/Program Files, then goto the Projects folder and click on one of the examples.

If it hasn't exploded yet, I haven't touched it.

Thanks Madscientist, but no, I don't mean examples! There is a folder Dark Basic Games with folders Beyond Life,Flyhard, nanoid, The_Grand_Machines and Tower; I presume these are the games, but there are no executables (.dba files). How do I run these games?

What have you installed... the Darkbasic Clasic program, or a game made with Darkbasic ??

If you have a Darkbasic game, what you need, is an .exe

What do you have into those folders?

cheers.
