Hi guys, sorry if this has come up before and I didn't notice, but I was beginning to wonder if anyone else was running into the same problem that I am.

TGC updated the look of the site, specifically the profile pages a little as well, and I'm finding that the new Product Page where you go to download any model packs you've purchased is not working for me. If I click to download any of the packs I own, or have recently purchased, it either brings me to an Internet Explorer cannot display this page page, or it lets me download some sort of empty .exe file that, when ran, just says for example FPSCreatorModelPack41.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

If anyone else out there is running into this same sort of dilemma and perhaps knows a way around it, or how to fix it, I'd love to hear from you.

I tried contacting TGC support, almost 2 weeks ago now, on this matter but never heard back. I'll try emailing them again, I just wanted to put up a thread as well just in case others were experiencing this problem too.

Braden, first i would try to refresh the page then go to the Order History

This is a history of orders you have placed with The Game Creators. You may view invoices for completed orders by clicking on the order reference number.

Click here to view the products page where you can download your purchased items.

Old Orders

This is a record or orders placed before April 2010 when they started using a new order system.

Products purchased in these orders will appear on your Products Page button ...where you can download your purchased items.

I hope that helps. I just tried it myself and it works.

I hope you have a great day.

Hey Tanya! I really appreciate you taking the time to try and help, sadly it still gives me the same trouble. No matter what model packs I try and download, if they're older ones that I've purchased many years ago now, or MP41 which I just got in late April, none seem to want to download at all. It's proving to be a rather peculiar and vexing problem.

I'll shoot another email off to the TGC support staff in the morning, thank you again for your time though Tanya.

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

Tanya's right, once going to the Order History page you need to go to the products page by clicking on the two possibilities she mentioned.

I tested on Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer 8 (32 bit) and Internet Explorer (64 bit). It works for me on these 3 versions.

Good morning, I wish I could've brought you both some better news on this sunny day! Other than wishing everyone a happy mother's day, I'm afraid the rest is bad news...

I tried:

Order History -> Click here -> No avail.

My Products -> No avail.

My Products -> Click here -> Old Orders -> Products Page -> No avail.

My Products -> Click here -> Click here -> No avail.

Order History -> Old Orders -> Products Page -> No avail.

(Even, just for the heck of it) Order History -> Old Orders -> Products Page -> Click here -> Click here -> No avail.

I'm emailing them again right now, I'll let you both know how it goes this time. If either of you, or anyone else, can think of another suggestion I'm open of course. I appreciate the help so far Tanya and Flatlander, I really do. Have a great day you two.

Thanks Braden for keeping us posted! By the way, what OS are you using? I am using Windows Vista (32) bit, Mozilla Firefox chrome. if i can think of anything else that might help you out...i will post it here...in the mean time... Emailing the TGC customer support team seems to be your only option. Braden, don't get discouraged..things will workout in the end. I hope you try to have a great day.

Evidently the problem goes beyond an Operating System or Browser problem, so the OS should not be a factor. As you've already emailed support, there's not much else you can do as this seems to be a server related error, specifically on you're account. Maybe your emails have gone to the receivers' spam box? Try sending emails from a different email account.

Well, you'd hope so considering he's a customer and TGC is a company. There's no better way to lose a customer than not supporting them or communicating with them

I'm running Windows XP Professional, Internet Explorer; but Marc, what you said about it being a server related error makes most sense since I'm not really having any other troubles with anything else.

I appreciate the encouraging words Tanya! I always held a similar conjecture with everyone else that you should have some sort of badge for being so altogether compassionate and genuinely engaging with the entire community on a constantly positive note. Thanks again

Now, yes I'm going to just give the support staff another few days, if still I hear nothing in return I'll try sending a third message via an alternative email. This just seems aberrant of their usual quality of response, which has generally always been prompt and exceptional in the past. We'll see how things turn out though, I think I'll always remain a TGC customer until the day I die but hopefully my trust isn't shaken here, I'll remain optimistic for a little while longer.

Thank you Tanya and Marc.
