If you get fps creator I recommend using xp if you have a computer with xp. My laptop has nvidia 8200 graphics card,3gb of ram, and dual core processor and I have nothing but problems with fps creator on it. The program always times out and lags like crazy for no apparent reason. I have tried all the compatibility stuff on all the .exes for fps creator and none of them work at all. However on my xp desktop which has 1gb of ram, a suckie intel graphics card, and a single core(that's not that powerful) fps creator runs with absolutely no lag or issues what so ever. Just for those looking to buy or download the free version I recommend either having windows xp mode for your windows 7 computer or having a separate windows 7 computer, I plan on transferring all my models and game projects to that computer just for the sake of compatibility, and to be frankly honest I really don't think we have even tapped out directx9's potential yet so staying on xp might not be such a bad thing even if it can't do directx10 or 11.

I think you proble may lie elsewhere on your PC, not in FPSC.

I myself and I am sure many other people ehre are running FPSC just fine.

You most likely have something else lagging your PC

Not sure what it could be because the only thing i have running is fps creator and I have ended pretty much all non-essential background programs.

Have you updated fpsc?if not then thats what might be causing it.
