I believe there is new updated info about Caligari GameSpace at:
www.caligari.com/gamespace/
Looks like it was just what the doctor ordered. Looks to be an excellent system for creating environments, and of course, any kind of object or character. I already ordered when it was only $199 to pre-order. If anyone really wants this they should consider buying it right now before the price jumps back up to $299, it appears to be still $199 but when I ordered they had something on the website that the offer would end on Sept 18th. Needless to say, from where I stand it appears to be an awesome game content development program and good value for the money.
They've probably worked on refining the exporting. So that it would have improved compatibility with games engines. Either way I'm glad because I always wanted to be able to create environments and characters that I could export without any problems.
As for the rest of the development process, well, that's up to the DBPro coder, there is not much limitation (except for a few bugs that are being ironed out and will hopefully soon be gone) in DBPro...the DBO format is being developed and so hopefully it will be in shortly too as well as an improved collision detection system. DBPro is being optimized for DX8/DX9 from what I believe, so that it runs more efficiently.

Benjamin
