hi to all,

do anyone know how to decompile a fps creator X10 made game ?
I want to add the source of my game to a VB2010 program, because I made a login/register program with VB. so the idea is:

double click the VB program >> login/register >> then launch the game.

Thanks,
regards

You cannot undo a compiled FPS Creator game it is a one way process, and even if you could it would be of no use to anyone a un-compiled FPSC game is a load of useless letters a numbers in plain text documents and it cannot be compiled in that form. What i think you really want is to distribute the FPM map files and the media needed so others can build and edit your game.

This would actually be against copyrights to do so unless every single piece of media in the game is yours.

Hope that answers the questions.

oke thanks you answered my question. but is there a other way to hide the main fpsc game file? if you look to other people they hide there files in the program file folder. so you first need to login and after that you can run it. is there some way to do that?

regards

Ps. sorry for the anoying question

You can do it with a program such as Phoenix Sentry Game protector, basically it puts the game into one protected file and as the user runs the exe for the game it extracts the files it needs and deletes them when its done so the files are safe from users.

I hope that answers your question. Unfortunately the Phoenix sentry application isn't being made any more and the site has been shutdown.

Or you can use this to protect your media. We use it with no issues at all.
