I every one,
Just have a simple question about collision.
I built a house with a flat roof for a character to to stand on and walk around, the problem I'm having is that my character will not stay on the roof he seems to like the interior of the house better, Please help what can be done that I may have over looked.
I have physic on for the building and character..
Thanks every one...

Did you make the house in a 3d modeler? What program did you use? Is the house dynamic or static?

Thank You for you reply bobochobo.

I model the building in silo 3d and I made sure to have it set as static..

This is how I have it built..

Well, I don't know the answer, but I dont't think it will work anyway, 'cause my characters will walk on place if I spawn them on an entity. But I dunno, maybe more experienced user can help you.

Aside from that, the model looks awesome!

I am using poly collision on the building..

I am going to try to add a cube to the floor and make in trans with box collision and see if that will do the trick, however if some body has a better idea please let us know and if it works will give away a model from our tgcs lowpoly projects section of your choice for free.

FPSC ready with custum scripts, animation with dramatic death scenes like body exploding..

You could use invisible floor segments (Or create your own sloped segment)

Characters often react much better with segments than entities.

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

Using floor segments is a good idea. If your going to go down that road, why not just create the biulding using regular segments and use entitiesfor the extras?
