I have noticed that FPSC X10 had it source released on Google Code. Does that mean that anyone can download the modder's kit and source code and compile the engine, thus getting it for free? Or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

You can download the FPSC-Game.exe part for free, yes. But there's a lot more to the product, including media, essential shaders, etc. etc.

You cannot make a game with it...Maybe with some sdjustments, you could code one in DBPro with it, but you cannot use the full FPSC X10 program with it.

Yeah, you can't just compile the code, and have the product, there would be missing media from the map editor, that would cause it to crash immediately at run.
