I am testing green screening with blender nodes. I was finally able to take my video and make the background to alpha. Then I rendered that into a Quiktime file (It contains alpha) and textured a plane with it. I added some clouds which were halos around it. However none of the halos were rendered that were infront of my plane. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it?

If it hasn't exploded yet, I haven't touched it.

It could have to do with the Zoffset, or Zbuffer, perhaps an issue with layers?

I haven't done much with the nodes so I'm not sure how exactly they fit into the final image, but I'd look into anything that might render or process the plane after the halo's thus overwriting them.

I just found that the ZTransp button under a material's render pipeline causes Z transparecy to be rendered infront of the halos. However if I uncheck this button my alpha becomes non transparent to everything accept the world material. Is there any button that will make Ztransparency be rendered not infront of the halos?

If it hasn't exploded yet, I haven't touched it.
