Hello all,

I was doing the skycube tutorial and it's skycube.x witch is a box with a texture on it. Is there any reason why you can not use a sphere and place a texture on it. I have 3d panrama lens to take pictures with and works alot better using a sphere model to be install for the game.

you can use a sphere, but texturing it would be much harder i believe, it's up to you

You could try making it in 3DWS, you can adjust the textures in there then scale it up to whatever size you want in GDK.
Never done this though so its just theory.
