EDIT taken down

just watch the video, it explains it all, things like how to make explosions better, and how to make combat more direct, all included.

also note, I'm not saying scene 2 with ironsights is bad, I'm just saying that it works far better for outdoor scenes, or scenes where a larger number of dynamic objects cant be supported. (a good ironsighted gun can essentially REPLACE a lot of dynamic objects which can't usually be floating around. it's also a good idea to trigger the dynamics with the enemy, so that they don't "float" around and cause constant lag. also, when triggered, they usually bounce around a bit, so it's best to trigger right before entering the room/seeing them. the player will see them moving, which is a good thing.

Tell me what you think, guys!

Too bad, I was curious to see what the tutorial was about. And how it could help my current project. But alas, I must sit here and sob with the rest of us.

It was basically him using iron sights, cover, AirMod blood, and putting explosive barrels near enemies.

well, it's basically because I wanted to make a nicer one.

often people ask why the shooting in FPSC is so bad, and thats because firerates are slow, there's no KICK to the gunplay, and bullets don't really DO anything. people much prefer when bullets produce destruction.

It's best when there are more exciting decals used, and lots of small, lightweight dynamic entities placed around the sightlines of the player.
