is there a way to make some sort of projected shadows, but not by using shadow mapping from DBP?

If anyone wants to join my team and help me with development of my sci-fi fps game, please send me an e-mail.

For static shadows: Lightmaps.
For dynamic shadows: Shaders.

Look in the untimate shader thread or search the forum. There are loads of example around.

I downloaded shadow mapping for EVOLVED but it seems to return errors when I try to compile. I have some commands that are not marked in blue like

load effect "FX/ShadowMapping.fx",1,0

and

set object effect 1,1

the second one have only 'set object' marked in blue.
All commands that are not marked with blue report errors more or less.

These two lines return effect not found at line 48.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'd update DarkBASIC to the newest version if it doesn't recognize some commands...
