I have fenix mod and i want to have my health constantly regenerate and when im hurt i have the damaged eye hud shown in various degrees of alpha. Say seperate images like the blood splatter in the freaks pack.

Points:
The more hurt you are, the more your screen goes red.
The abount of red on your screen indicates your health.
The player regenerates health when not being shot @.

All of this is possible with Project Blue, and you can have real alpha transparency and smooth fading whilst using it.

Wow, you advertise Project Blue alot, but yes i agree project blue is better in all but the AI to fenix mod.

I guess I do, I think Hockeykid and s4real need to send me some crates of beer and other high energy programmer snacking foods as I've gotten them a couple of sales from advertising

But it's mainly because with Project Blue almost anything is possible, and I think people miss the point when they read the mod's feature list. Instead of outlining what the mod can be used for (such as third person etc.) it gives a list of scripting commands, so those less experienced in the scripting area may simply ignore the mod because they don't know what can be created through the mod (unlike Fenix Mod which lists out features such as 3rd person, DarkAI etc.). That, and the incredible performance

Well don't make him or her to choose sides of a mod, the person should look at what features they want within their game then consider a mod. And since the only thing is CoD style health I would stick with vanilla but fenix is free. But if you are new just try to understand Vanilla at first. (Vanilla = Original FPSC)

The same thing reversed in the both sentences.

But this would be awesome! It was great in King Kong when you just die from 2 hits and if you get hit once, you are red, hte second hit, you are dead (hey, that rhymes). And the music just playing always you get hit. Haven't played that game in a while... need to play it again...

It'd be almost cruel for Lee to come out with V1.17 and tell everyone that it doesn't have an entity timer.

Seriously, all of the "cool" scripts around seem to use the timer. Yeah, that's great and all, but how well is your game going to react when your health regen uses the timer, your conversational script uses the timer, your dark wizard's attack that freezes you in place while he laughs at your feebleness script uses a timer, and the bloody flickering light out in hallways 2, 5, and 6 use the timer? Not well.

Definitely. In fact, sometimes I have to split scripts because I can only have one etimer in PB at a time.
