What is a good method for making a turbosmoothed Picatinny rail? Every time I try to make one some of the edges just out very oddly.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, you could model the bottom piece, and use all of the rails as floating geo, and the rails can be as simple as a cube with some vertices pushed and pulled. That should be easy to add support loops to

I tried having them as floating geo and it didn't look good. They rounded slightly and didn't meet with the lower part of the rail.

Ok, is this what you mean, sorry if I'm not helping at all I've never modeled a rail before myself, but I think I got it. This took like ten min if not less.

I do the same as camo, you are likely either missing control edges, or have not deleted the bottom faces(cant be seen, and when deleted do not smooth the surrounding faces.
