So does Fenix Mod, but neither has Full Screen Shaders. You would need Project Blue.

Then you will need to make said shader (or get someone to do it for you), and then go with a mod that supports custom FS shaders (such as Project Blue) so you can use your cartoon shader.

As of right now, Project Blue is the ONLY Mod that supports custom FS Shaders.

Black outlines, thats just a shader, full screen shader is things like bloom, or a sepia effect, or black and white, or something like that, it changes the whole look of whats on screen. A shader is something else, its altering just a part of the image, for example see the shaders bond1 hads made, specularity and normal maps, but he is the only one that is able to work out how to make custom shaders it seems. So I think you may be stuck here.

That is fs shader. Cartton shader that comes with dark shader is fs shader. I know what's difference between fs and shader. Shader applies to one object and fs applies to all objects.

I'm not stuck in there.

Well, you can also get Paint.net and open all the textures you're using and use the tools in artistic. I just used the effect on a screenshot from my game. But I also tried this out whilst retexturing a wall for the fun of it and it looks just as this screenshot does. It takes longer but is a good alternate to forking over $30 for PB

Borderlands does use a form of a cartoon shader, but it also has some of the lines drawn on the texture directly.

I know that borderlands uses that, but i want cartoon outlines, and there is shader which creates textures look like cartoon. (ie. Prince of persia)

Here is examples (outline shader)

Prince of Persia (outline shader and texture shader)

I wan't my game look like that. (Prince of Persia)

Well, you COULD go with a full screen shader to make that effect "easy" to recreate, but it won't just do outlines.

The perfect outlines you're depicting here would be best done with a model shader. Those outlines are best created when the shader has actual knowledge of the model's geometry and can create the outlines as they should appear on the model. The full screen shader does nothing more than "guess" at what parts require an outline based upon color differences or minor patterns. It's not perfect, so a model shader may be best for you. I believe DarkShader came with one of those as well. You'll need to set up the shader yourself to have it work with FPSC, but it would net you the best results.

Dark sahder comes with outline fullscreen shader, does it work with single model.

Quote: "you will need only EFX mod. "

I have it, but i have only bloom and motion blur.

EDIT:
Does project green have fullscreen shaders becouse there doesn't read that they are removed from project green.

@Crysis:

EFX does not have cartoon shading. That won't help him here.

@Vortex:

Project Green was made from PB v1.6, which did not have the full screen shader system.

And, no, full screen shaders do not work on individual models. But, like I said, I believe DarkShader comes with a model version of the cartoon shader. If not, I'm willing to bet you can find one lingering around the DBP board that someone has made.

Checked dark shader. No cartoon outline shader. Just cartoon shader that just makes them look like not so good.
