Hey guys,

I've wondered about this for a while now, and am interested in the number of users who use a mod, and which mod they use. This isn't just useful to me, but also to anyone considering scripting for mods so they can see which is the most popular.

Simply post a message on this thread stating whether you use a mod, and which mod you use (if any).

Fenix Mod: 17
Project Blue/Green: 16
No Mod: 13
Other Mod: 7
FPSC X10: 2
RPG Mod: 1

List will be ordered in popularity.

MONSTER MARK - last update.

I find I switch back and forth between Project Blue and Fenix on a regular basis, so I guess that would be both. This is a good idea though Marc, if focus can be shifted on the mods everyone uses steadily we could definitely see even more growth.

Besides, all the scripting work you've done for PB so far has been outstanding, and a huge addition to the gameplay value of FPSC as well (assuming you have the mod and can utilize the scripts). Thanks

Cheers

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

Same with Braden, I switch between PBUM and Fenix. I usually go to PBUM for the performance, full screen shaders and scripting, while I go to Fenix for DarkAI and more 'realistic' weapon actions (you sprint - anim speeds up, crouch - slows down).

EDIT: Just saw X10 up there. I use X10 unmodded as well.

If you switch between mods, just post the one you use most often. Unless you own Project Blue, in which case post that, as I'm interested in the number of PB Users.

This thread is for FPSC X9, but X10 is an option for those who use it.

No mod. I can't really rely on existing mods for stability. FPS Creator as of right now is rather unstable anyway, so I wouldn't dare chance it.

Temporarly away from the Phoenix Sentry.

Not necessarily are mods used for stability, but more for their abilities to enhance features of FPS Creator.

Fenix Mod and Project Blue, depending on the project, and what features I need for it.

Yes, I know, you misread. I'm stating that mods cause instability a lot of the time because you get one bug that someone coded, and your whole game won't work. I think true skill is being able to use FPS creator right out of the box to make advanced things like that.

No amount of skill can overcome inherent limitations, though. Sure some features of Mods simply make a task easier to accomplish, but many other just flat out let you do what vanilla can't.

No mods, takes up to much space on my computer, I prefer to have both copies full intact, almost like two sperate programs. However, no mods.

I hate this box, but hey it's there.....
