Need I say any more. DIsgraceful behaviour, especially when arsenal attacked ruud

And their goalkeeper was off his line when the penalty was taken, and no retake? deja vu?

Those who saw the match, your views?

I hope arsenal get points deducted.

I think it was shocking what happened to Van NistelRooy and Arsenal should all be poked in the eye with a sharp stick until they say sorry

In typical fashion, if Man Utd arn't winning after 93 mins then they must be awarded a penalty - that must be a FIFA rule now because it happens so often.
At least Van Nistledive missed it, so the dirty cheating reds didn't win.

Not a bad result but an Arsenal win would have been so much more satisfying!

Good to see Van Nistledive getting what he deserved at the end of the game though!

If i read correctly, the whole club going to the courts (well the FA ones) and chances are they will have points taken away as the new FA boss wants to make an example of them. Somming like not even the big clubs can escape...

I agree

I hoep[ this does not turn into a flamebait, not enough people watch and avidly support football here

Arsenal (club), Arsene Wenger and 6 of their players have to appear before FA - i think arsenal as a club will get points deducted and thep layers will get suspensions. If they do arsenal will have a SERIOUS crisis

Man U may get some taken away, but no big chance of that as they are not being charged.

For all unknowing, Arsenal (the club) has been charged (well manager has but he represents the club) and becuase this is not a player thing how do you punish a club??

The usual way is to deduct points.

The worst that could happen would be that 6 players get banned and Arsenal lose 3 points

Me no Arsenal fan, man u all the way.

It's unbeleivable really. Van NistleDIVE is the dirtiest most cheating player that has ever stepped foot on a pitch but he gets away with everything!

Whilst I agree that the Arsenal players were out of line at the end of the match Van NistleDIVE got what he deserved but he still should be punished further. He won't be of course, for two reasons:

1) He is Van NistleDIVE and gets away with everything.

2) He is a Dirty Red and therefore gets away with everything.

It's about time that FIFA and the Refs played fair and punished all clubs and players equally. There should be a fair play league for them aswell as teams and players.

In that incident with vieira, van nistelrooy and vieira were punished equally, it was just his second yellow card so he was sent off.

Craig Mc, you a quallified ref then?

Cause i know a under 21s FA qualified ref (going for premier and international qs soon) and he says if Van was diving the replays that a group of refs watch after the game would show it and he would be cautioned.

Nicely put, that match did indeed suck. I wish we got the penalty in.

Quote: "if Van was diving"

I was not refering to one game in particular. He dives in all games and maybe the refs do 'get together' after the game which brings me to my final point in the above thread - the refs should play fair and not all suck up to Man Utd.

Anyone can see that that is the case - Man Utd are treated differently to any other team - it is a fact that everybody (except Man Utd fans) are all too aware of.

Quote: "Craig Mc, you a qualified ref then?"

Surely you can work that out for yourself.

They do, also if the manager of an opposite team said to the FA officially that they thought a player was diving an investigation would start.

And one thing the new FA boss would love is to have a big news story. I have not seen him 'diving'.

And they should leave Arsenal alone?

I am certainly no Man Utd fan - Port Vale (I'm a glory hunter) - and I can't see that Man Utd are treated differently. It's just a fact that because they are better than everyone else, the green eyed monster comes out.

Back to origional subject:
Diving is cheating and annoying.
Thuggery is something else - it's moronic.
