an example of how to read

an html file w/dbpro?

everytime i use:

+ Code Snippet

http connect "www.thegamecreators.com"
action$="action=list&"
serverid$="server_id=mygame"
return$=http request data("POST", "gamehost/index.php",action$+serverid$)
if return$<>""
 print return$
else
 print "no data returned"
endif
http disconnect
wait key
end

it returns 404 notfound

and reads it across the screen.

it should read it down..

www.thegamecreators.com/gamehost/index.php does not exist, that's why you're getting 404. What exactly are you trying to do?

read a php page that has some info on it that detects if a user bought a license or not.

Hi !!
Im with the same question now...
Anybody know how to use the http request data command ???
I try some things like:

http connect "www.bit9.com.br"

 print return$
else
 print "no data returned"
endif
http disconnect
wait key
end

to get
www.bit9.com.br/teste.txt

But they dont get....

Any idea ?????
