I'm not sure if any one else got this error but when I start FPS Creator x9 after I updated it to 1.16. I keep getting a error saying "Runtime Error 5104 - Could not create memblock at line 9978" Then after 30second later I get a crash saying "Extra Dubug 0 0"

Does any one know how to fix this?

(I already sent something to tech support. They solution didn't work)

I had this error, I simply reinstalled FPS creator and update to ONLY 1.15. 1.16. is FAR too buggy.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.

Who the hell is General Failure? And why is he trying to read my hard disk?

My software never has bugs. It just develops random features.

I've seen this posted many times by many users, so don't feel I'm singling you out here. But why do you think this? I've not had problems with 1.16 that weren't already in 1.15.

1.16:

1. Spawns are completely messed up. You spawn, you are frozen. The only way to move is when you fire a gun.

2. The startup times are horrible. FPS Creator on average takes me about 30 seconds to completely boot up, this includes loading a map. 1.16 takes 54 seconds.

3. Random debug errors that really discourage use of FPS Creator simply because nobody wants to be interrupted and troubled to re-boot FPS Creator after one of its sporadic crashes.

4. Games are tested, but when closing the test game constant crashing / severe glitching occurs. Sometimes the map editor won't even load.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.

1.17 is supposedly going to be the first major steps to boost FPS Creator into more "modern" times. Otherwise known as "The Migration."

Crispex, I have had no problems with any of these issues you have mentioned. In fact I would rather use v116 because it has actually fixed v115 bugs that were troublesome for me. To me, personally, I find v116 quite stable.

I've never had this. Although I have seen others who have posted it.

I just tested this with my biggest map. From starting up to loading the map took 22 seconds. I don't have a very powerful system by today's standards.

I'll occasionally get an error but no more than I had with 1.15

I'm not having these test game problems.

It seems like you are extremely unlucky with FPSC

Yet another post that explains why I loose faith in humans.

Anyway, it's the fact that FPS Creator has been out for YEARS and it still is experiencing issues that should have been fixed years ago, the main one being that people STILL fall through the floor.

Regardless, I look forward to 1.17.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.

Yes, that one I can attest to and it is a pet peeve of mine also. Hopefully it is taken care of in v117.

v1.16 is far more reliable than v1.15 imo. I use beta 18.

Same as Bugsy. And about that being froze in the start of the level: This does not happen when you build a full executable game. And I don't have nearly as many errors, but it may just be me...

I for one have zero faith in 1.16 as for me it's way to unstable and unpredictable.

Which is a shame as (when it runs) it's very smooth, but after far too many "...missing at line xxxxxx" crashes I went back to 1.15 and will wait for 1.17 and hope it's stable.
