is there a way ( or a plugin ) that enables DBP to talk to a servo controller through USB or COM ?

The controllers I`m planning on using are the Pololu Maestro devices.

Can I use DBP to talk directly to these? instead of using the supplied software - as the supllied SW can only handle one controller at a time - I could have up to 8 I need to use simultaneously.
The device does come with a `.inf` file, as its driver as well as the software ( written in C# ).

any ideas?

I'm sure IanM wrote a plugin for communicating with com ports - in which case you might be able to setup a virtual COM port through your network settings for each controller.

I don't know for sure, I've never tried in DBPro, in PureBasic and VB though it's quite straightforward - so if there is such a plugin, it should be equally straightforward, as it's probably using the same 'protocol'.

any idea where I can find the plugin, or would it be a general google search ?

As for VB or PB, I have considered the option of learning C# ( as thats what the device software is written in ), but I really do have a prefrerence to use DBP.
