Hi, I made a little chat program (you and the computer talk to each other). Problem is that if you don't put anything for say name$ and you hit enter it will continue on with the program. I need it to, if there are no characters in the Input, to not allow the program to continue till there is.

No I need it to basically STOP the program and not allow anything to happen until there are characters within the "". So it will stay on same line. What you gave me is if you hit enter it will go down 1 line and continue that until something is put in.

Add a "CLS" before the input command? then redraw any text if ness.

I'm sure you just need to think about it a little
