ok, I've had a good while of searching forums but I just can't get my model animated. I have so far followed this process:

Got hold of a model zebra in 3ds max. Exported it as an xfile using panda. Made it into an entity using make etities from xfiles.

The model appears in fps but none of the animation scripts will work with it. I've played about with the FPE file (deleteing .dbo and bin. files afterwards) but I can;t get any of the AI scripts to work. I just want to get my model zebra to pace or chase or anything really. It just stands there looking dumb
I can change the script on the ai destroy bit to make it shatter like glass or something when I shoot it. I just cant get any movement from it using ai main or whatever.

Am I right in thinking that I should be able to produce the same movement of a running character or whatever, in my zebra by copying over those script details?

You will need to make sure that the zebra is rigged and animated in 3ds Max. If there are no keyframes, then there won't be any animations despite how many scripts you have going.

My green thumb grew the tree my Trojan War horse was crafted from. With roses in our pockets we rally round the tombstones. Ashes to ashes, we all fall down.
