Hey guys,

I just made this segment for my Modern Day WIP game, and I thought someone might find use for it =]
The pack consists of one ModernDay segment and a stone floor. Please note I am very new to texturing, but C&C is still welcome =]

Are they seamless?
-Almost, in the wall segment there is a barely noticable seam, you can barely see it in game, on the floor there is also a seam, but I am working on making it seamless =]

Instructions:
Extract the folders: "Industrial Room1" and "Stone Floor1" into your segments\user folder, if you don't have a "user" folder in your segment bank, create one, it won't work otherwise.

Don't change the name of any folder, the pack will not work.

License:
Can be commercial/non-commercial
Credit is not necessary
Do not claim as your own work
Do not sell or give this segment to anyone individually or in a pack.

Download: Attatched
Pics in next post.

Like I told you before - more detail! A great way of putting in more detail is using a real world texture as an overlay to your original texture (so long as it is seamless).

getting better but like pwp said more detail! Oh and its better if you make them 1024x1024 for better detail !and yeah use real world textures .you can also overlay some grungy textures but just play around with layer modes and stuff . trial and error .
anyways heres a quick re-texture i did just so you get the ideanot really seamless but just for demonstration!)

Wow... How do you even make them like that? I use Paint.NET, I don't have any plugins for it as I dont know how to install them, does anyone know how? I just downloaded one, where to I put it?

Anyway thanks for the ideas, I will keep trying.

thanks i did that real quick because i was going to a party .Anyways
i do all my texturing and all that in The Gimp .
I am learning PS but its a bit harder.
basically i added a border to the bottom of the texture, then i overlaid some grungy textures.
i really recommend you to get gimp its a awesome program!!!
i just started a youtube channel and i am planning on making gimp tutorials. i got one up but its really bad. so maybe this summer ill get a few tuts up!

Well since your using gimp, check under the "map" filters and there is a "make-seamless" filter. It sometimes doesn't work to well but for your concrete and walls it should do fine.

Are they using shaders because it looks like it has a normal map on it. And good work!

@JaredxD
Gimp has lot more functionality than p.net. It's just a bit "different" is all.

Drop them in C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects
