Here are several ideas...

1) Buy a better computer

2) Build small areas inside, rather than outdoor maps

3) Place less enemies at one time, and them then spawn again or spawn others upon death.

4) Keep the total polycount for the scene lower than you are now. (so replace high poly models with low ones)

1) Learn how to use Mods.

2) Download a Mod (I suggest Fenix to start).

3) Use the Mod.

4) Watch your FPS go up

Mods are user made edits of the "Fpsc-game.exe" source code
Some free examples you should look up are
S4mod
Project Green
Airmod

I am using S4mod and my games are still laggy as hell

Don't you have better things to do than read this

Maybe it's because S4Mod is really old?

Fenix Mod is supposed to help FPS, but I never saw it. However if you have an extra $28, Project Blue is easily the fastest mod.

Fenix Mod is free and it helps lag. I have no lag in any level I have made so far, when using Fenix Mod. If you want a free mod, then I suggest Fenix Mod. I use it and love it.

AWESOME Steps, if u follow them.

Let me try:

1) Watch your FPS go up

2) Learn how to use Mods.

3) Use the Mod.

4) Download a Mod (I suggest Fenix to start).

O well... Anyway, u could make ur own or download a mod.
As said before check for big areas and loads of dynamic scripts/entities, and or enemies.

use lots of static things.

Who the hell is General Failure? And why is he trying to read my hard disk?

My software never has bugs. It just develops random features.
