FPS Creator X10 / Decal Fix

This is a pic of a map i made. The two red and green arrows are decals using the decalflat script. From above, a height of 3 or 4 levels, they are invisible. but when i get closer they appear. After they appear, they will be visible from any distance. I really need help with this. Anything would be helpful, its got the default appear script so its probably not that.

This is a know fact with certain decals, the further away you are the decal will disappear, I've had it happen with the water decals. I haven't found a way around it, may be someone else has?

Make some Static Decals using the same water texture the animated (dynamic) ones use and place just under the animated ones.
That way you should at least have something to see when the animated decals get clipped at distance.

Your signature has been erased by a mod. The sig needs to be 600 width maximum (x 120 height) for all of it.

Or you can download helix softwares water shaders.

Or, if you have the Metro Theatre model pack, you can go to the Rogue River thread and download some realistic looking water.

I had this with the stock fire delas, ekcept they didn't appear at all

yeah i got metro theater but the shaders dont seem to work.

Oh, and you cant make it a static decal. It just flashes red.

I think he meant to ask if you have shaders in general turned on. You can edit the settings by opening FPSC and clicking on File > Preferences.

EDIT: Sorry, thought he said full screen shaders, not full shaders My bad! But you can check by looking 3 lines up from this!

ok, the shaders are all static, nothing. water looks like ice. The textures and lighting are at max

Do you have enabled full shaders in Files-Preferences? And the water entities must be dynamic too.

Ohh you're using FPSC X10, that's why. That option is only in X9.
