Hey guys.

At the moment I am doing my GCSE's and I have 6 left (by friday it will only be 3) and then I am in for a very long summer I have received many emails regarding Z-Mod and I would like to say that this summer I will be remaking mine and shadowfires current scripts as well as every one of the huds, and Releasing Z-Mod V2.

Do people have any requests for the features to be included? Fire away if you do


Here are the current requests:
-> Complete Documentation Of All Features.
-> New Custom Huds.
-> Special Blood effects.
-> Special Sound scripts.
-> Special Zombie Waves.
-> Several Zombie Models.
-> Several Barrier Models.
-> More Zombie AI Scripts.
-> Air Mod Integration (I'll try to get this working in vanilla )
-> Zone Player Barriers.

Special Requests:
-> Water.
-> Co-Operative Mode.

GREAT!!! Could you just make a complete documentation of the mod and how to use the scripts, as many people including me did not understand how to use some scripts like the wave system?

I have been on a vacation for a month now HAH!

Well, it's cool and if you want any huds again tehn just tell me! I have gotten alot better now and by huds aren't the same they used to be. Wich means they are better! And I hope to see some awesome stuff again! I figured out all the stuff except the wave system the last time, but I would love to see some Survival stuff in the spirit of Left 4 Dead 2!

How about some zombies? Nazi zombies, civilian zombies, etc.


Also, some shelters and breakable, boarded, windows, mabye a few sound effects, (eg: Creaky floors, zombie noises), mabye a few rusty floors. Mabye a good creepy night skybox, a script for a blood effect when bellow 1/20th of your original health, and few new HUDS. (Priority order)

Also, what AA said about the documentry on how to use everything. Could be very useful. (Seriously, we need this)

If I could get anyone who would like to contribute with media, scripts ect... could you please post your msn emails in the form of a code snippet (to prevent scammers)?

Metal devil if you could give me yours as well that would be great Possibly design a new logo for it

As far as media is concerned I dont think we will be able to make all that much unless Charger wants to make alot We can talk on msn about that after tomorrow (last exam i need to revise for, i just have IT after that and thats a bit of a cake walk)

Im adding a list of the requested features to the first post.

Dont worry guys, we will have proper documentation in this mod I may have to make a few custom programs with this mod though because the waves in the last mod had problems because it required alot of user code modification. Hopefully with Z-Mod V2 we will be one step nearer the First fully functioning FPSC game

I thought that the original idea had potential, and now that Fenix Mod has several commands I was looking for in the first mod, I should be able to make this one much better The community input so far looks very promising as well

The mod is mainly a set of scripts but I can always look into making a bit of a mod Merge the multiplayer and single player It seems like a fantasy but once someone gets a theory going its allot more possible

I have a theory in the works But it seems a bit too obvious so it makes me think that people must have tried it before and failed with it or else there would already be a Co-op mode out there

Well the thing is, if it's multiplayer too, that would mean having no scripts or grenades, so I think if we cross multiplayer with singleplayer, everything would just suck.

Yeah but surprisingly hard. You might as well write your own engine if you are willing to put in that much work.

Though I guess Arenas and his team already have experience with that.

At the moment it's just me on this mod Contributers will be listed and people I work more closely with will become listed team mates however

I'd like too make a final push over these next two weeks for extra feature requests. I have a few special idea which will be saved for a surprise on the final release, as an example, a mounted turret Theres more which will be revieled in due course. Until then keep the requests comming so I know exactly what you guys want from me and contributers are able to add material which is relevant.

I will also create a set of tutorial threads to be locked by moderators which will act as an online tutorial. There will also be a downloadable PDF guide.

That's all the updates I have for now.

How about the ability to add different types of enemies into the wave system? For example, in Nazi Zombies Map 3, you unlock Hellhounds after a while, and every few levels, a Hellhound will appear.

That already exists.

no, In every five rounds, the hellhounds, come after the fifth round, after the hellhound round, the sixth, round starts. maybe z-mod, can do something like that, if that was what Monkey Mja was talking about.

Z-Mod is really an addon pack. The name is already well known so there's no sense in changing it

And for your dogs.... Why not just change wave 6 into a wave of dogs and add an animation at the start for the dogs life like electricity to make it look like it's just appeared. I think I'll take general Jackson up on his offer and see if we can make a zombie pack with a few dogs and different zombies with added animations

Well I plan on setting the zombies into a spawn loop. This way the scripts make use of the commands in fenix mod which can increase the dammage of the zombies and their speed. I'll use fenix mod provided it is converted into V1.17. I think this will probably happen considering hockeykid is working on the migration and fenix mod.

You need to place the five conjured prophet entities into your game. I think with Z-Mod V2 I will convert the money scripts into a single script in the setuplevel.fpi

Will this work with 1.17? Or is it just going to be 1.16 only?

Because if it's not working with 1.17, sorry to say, I would probally choose 1.17 over Z-Mod.

Currently I think it only required project green. This version will be require Fenix mod so which ever version of FPSC fenix mod uses, Zmod will be comparable with.

Zombie A.I for you can have team mates to kill zombies and zombies kill you and your team mate also speed up fpsc for when you put alot of stuff it wont lag also maybe player legs

It works on 1.17, so maybe the airmod request should be cancelled, because 1.17 already has airmod in it.

Im gonna be using Fenix mod as that has all the FPI requirements. That should then be integrated into V1.17 or vise versa should I say. This way we have the performance increases as well as the scripting capabilities. Melee also gives the added bonus that when your low or out of ammo... it just stays interesting
