OK, I upgraded to 7.4 DBPro and the about says that is 1.074 and It looks like the older version of DBPro and also will not compile files that where written in 7.4. The folders indicate that the update installed just fine. I have DirectX 9.0c installed, everything seems to be in order. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jonathan

What do you mean exactly? You press F5 and it does nothing? Does it error? If so, what does it say? Does it compile/run other versions of DBP?

Have you tried writing a simple program to see if it will compile it?

Hey I have tried writing something and running it and DB just closes, no error. I have tried reinstalling and the same thing. After F5 it looks like its compileing then it just closes. Not sure what else to do.

What have you compiled? Remember, that if you haven't included any instructions in your code for your program to pause, it will run and exit immediately.

Try installing in custom directory if it works then maybe there is some left-overs from before and something goes wrong.Just a thought.
