i made a hud for one of the snipers in the game. What i want to do is have a realistic view. example-when a sniper looks into his scope he does not put his eye right on it,it is a little futher back.Meaning that he is focusing on his target through the scope, but his sight of view around the scope is normal. I made the hud and changed the area around the actual scope to alpha(transparent) but it is still part of the zoom, so that that area which should be his regular position is zoomed as well. Is there any way make parts of the sniper zoom regular view.

I hope this post makes sense of what im trying to inquire, so any help, or if u want a better explanation(I'll think of one in the mean time) please give me some help and advice

thanks in advance

I believe you are talking about a dynamic scope such as in Red Orchestra (refer to video above). The way they allow this is by adding a video screen to the back lens of the scope, which shows a magnified view of whatever you are looking at. The only way you can attach a video screen to a weapon model is through Ply's Mod V1.09 (refer to video below)

Currently Ply's Mod has been disbanded, but it is incorporated in Project Blue. I have yet gotten Project Blue, but will do so in the future. Not too sure if Project Blue will allow you to have a video screen on a weapon model, and also not too sure if the video screen can be set to a magnified view. So pretty much the order of things is as follows... Get a weapon model, apply the video screen on the back lens (if PB allows), use Airmod scripts to use simplezoom to center the video in the center of the screen. All of this is theoretical, for I haven't conducted in such tests yet.
