ok, so I had music playing originally,it worked fine, then I wanted to add sounds to my game I am developing for a college project. as soon as I add the sounds all I started to get instead of music was a continues humming noise, however my sounds worked, so I decided to do some dubegging and went back to the original set up without any sounds and just music... NOW the music wont even play!? Why is this if anyone knows? I don't know whether DarkBASIC Pro can handle MP3s at 320kbps or what? if anyone can get back to me, thanks in advance!

I've got it down to no humming or buzzing sound with using my engine sound for music and my pickup sound as sound. it seems when i have more than one sound it starts humming. is there no way i can get round this?

You can try this :
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=170129&b=6

Tell me if it works for you.

Sorry for my late edit but when i post this i wasn`t in my home and there was problem with the keyboard so i was short in this.

You can also post your code here so we can see if the problem is in the code itself.Maybe the sounds and musics are fine.I can test it if you post here, and if it works fine with any sounds and mp3`s then the problem might be in the files you are using.

Oh no, nevermind guys! got it all fully functional it is goooooood, it must have just been the original sound files i was using, they were so bad, get humming almost all the time when more than 1 sound loaded. terrible, now put nice newer higher quality ones in and now works a treat...

however, i am making a mute function, and it works fine, just i have it on key press for control and well, like i have to tap it at the speed of light cos if its held down it continuesly switches between muted and unmuted! is there anyways to delay the keypress?

I have tried Wait 100 and it would be good if it didn't hault the processing of my game also. i did it as a method for debugging well i need to find some method of pressing the button without it instantly changing back so fast! any ideas?
