Hey guys, I know I use x10 but I think you may be able to help me. I am trying to make a cool sun effect in my forest map, the only problem is the shadows keep making the terrain and the shadows themselves block like. It's really destroying the entire affect. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or what I could do to fix it? I put the light up to the 15th level and set it to around 4500 or so, I also put up a black light with the same and it didn't do anything. I am at a loss, any help would be appreciated.

You need to up the lightmapquality in the setup.ini. Try changing it to 256.

Is that a built game you're showing? Your setup should look similar to this:

Wait... you're using Mystic Mod, I presume? Then I wouldn't know why it changes the setup file from its original state.

Yea pretty much, but it's a multi player game so I am not sure. No I am not using mystic on this machine. For some reason the lighting just does that. It does that in test game as well.

yeah, just open up setup.ini with fpsc closed and scroll (or just look) until you find lightmapqaulity = 5 (or whatever number is there) change it to like 90 for amazing results.

Open the setup.ini in your FPSC directory. Then it will build with that setup.ini for your executable.
