It won't work on XP. You will need VISTA OS.

Or Windows 7. Also, if you are purchasing those in the near future, check out this thread. It'll guide you on what system requirements you will need to have.

Let's put it this way:

YOU CANNOT RUN X10 ON XP EVEN WITH A DX10 HACK!

Whatever BS you hear about X10 on XP is false, since even new DX11 cards will only work with DX9 on XP, since Xp doesn't have the DX10 graphics code whereas Vista and 7 do.

To save you the trouble of reading the thread Direct X10 is 100% not supported by Windows XP and it is pure stupidity to say Direct X10 can work in XP even a hacked version it doesn't.
