Well here I am, coming back to check up on things after 2 or so years of absence. I honestly can't remember exactly how long.

So what's changed? I see we still have some of the same moderators, sorry to see that Keith is leaving though. Is that mod nazi FredP still around?

Did they fix up FPSC at all? I'm going to take the liberty of a guess here and presume that the engine is still frame based right? Please tell me I'm wrong it would be awesome if they fixed it.

Ooh I remember just as I was leaving they were setting up this model store in FPSC x10 so people could waste even more money on software that didn't work. How did that work out?

I see now that TGC totally abandoned x10, if I were them I probably would've abandoned that glitchy mess too. props!

Just thought I would swing by the community that I used to be a part of. Good luck with any development you may be doing.

Cheers!

I find your post extremely negative and that you're assuming the wrong things in most of your FPSC-related sentences:

Yes, he is.

Loads of Mods have been developed for FPSC such as Project Blue and Fenix that highly increase and stabilize the frame rate.

I think you're thinking of the TGC Store. It's not exclusive to FPSC X10 and can be used for DBPro, FPSC X9 and a few other supported engines. Also, it's not for software mostly; it's actually used for media to be used in the above engines. So no, no one is wasting their money there either. All the media has had lots of work and time put forth. I wouldn't even consider it to be 'a waste of even more money'.

You see wrong. TGC is currently working with the V117 update for FPSC X9, they have not abondoned or ignored X10 and instead have focused on X9 for the time being. Also, FPSC X10 has been updated - V110 - and is a lot less glitchy. They've also released the X10 source code for modders to edit and improve futhermore (there is already an X10 mod - Mystic Mod).

So I hope you realise what has actually changed and reconsider your previous thoughts.

Well x10 users get FPSC x9 for free with the 1.17 update, so we x10ers are looking forward to that. As PWP has explained we have mod support out now so we are working as fast as we can to add new things to our engine.

v1.17 will be timer based, and there are already mods which have a timer system implemented.
