I can build a game, preview a game, but for the love of humanity, I am tired of the "Test Level" crash. Every time, every map, the program locks up and crashes during the part, "Adding all objects to universe...". I'm simply tired of having to rebuild the game to test a few edits. Ugg.

SPECS: Q6600 (2.7Ghz, G0), 8GB DDR2-800 RAM, Windows 7 64bit HP, ATI 4850 512MB, SB XtremeGamer audio.

I keep this machine well tuned and updated. And yes, DX is up-to-date. The June 2010 update.

Anyone know why this happens?

Also ensure you are using Direct X10.1 Direct X11 is not supported by FPS Creator at this time and has issues similar to this.

I'm updated to 1.11(MATURE).

I'll try the DX downgrade.

Thanks!

And run FPSC-Cleaner to erase corrupt files. It can found at:

(HARD DRIVE LOCATION):\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator X10\bin\FPSC-Cleaner.exe

Every FPSC X10 update asks you to run the cleaner, so do that after installing a new update .

Oh I do run the cleaner. More often then I think I should.
Anyway, I have found that if I build the game first, THEN go back and test the level, it works. As long as I do not make any sever changes however. Any heavy segment changes and I have to rebuild the map.
