How about instead of E3, we could have F4? Lol that would be just confusing.

And what will be used to make this? Ustream?

Hi guys, glad you noticed that I placed this on the TGC Facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/The-Game-Creators-Ltd/7256614177).

Thought I would give this a boost to see what the response is from the community

sounds like an awesome idea! as for names how about

GC3 - Games Creators conference :: FPSC, DBpro, Dark GDK
INC - indie creations Conference (kinda like that one)
TGC2 - The Game Creators Conference
GCB - Game Creators Broadcast

and i would be more than happy to publish games from developers with or without websites on simhoodpub.co.cc free even after the conference for more exposure

Thanks for the name ideas

Quote: "more than happy to publish games from developers"

If you can provide direct download links then I can add you to the list

Quote: "even after the conference"

The site will most likely be staying online after it's finished, the only difference being the developers won't be online to chat/answer questions etc.

For those who would like to advertise, please wait until the end of June/start of August when we will have everything ready,up and running.

The name will be The Game Creators Convention but I should ask Rick first if we can use it.

I don't understand the random nubers behind the letters...lol.

I like where this is going! Again, I am free to be emailed at, if you need something! But you already got more talented people there, so I wont be pretty much needed...

Remember,if you won't have decent progress when signing up for your showroom, you will be declined and won't be able to participate.

Possibly, I am looking into it.

Quote: "And once the confrences is over, what happens if you stay on?"

If you are physically on the website when the event ends then when you go to a new page of the site you'll see a message saying the event has now ended and some features such as the chatting will no longer be avilable.
You will be able to look at the projects, project info and descriptions for a few days afterwards though

It is great but the problem is we changed the name for the game. Try contacting knxrb and chat about website design so he can tell you what he needs for the website. Thanks for the banner anyways.

I said already, once the website is up somewhere in august, you will be able to sign up for your showroom. You will need to submit details about the projects, some pictures and maybe a video. Then we review the submission and if it's an actual real project you will be accepted.

WWIV Studios: Story and screenshots will be a must, video will be optional.

Will it be open for assetcreators too? To show off some new media or something.

An idea would be chargin a small fee for those who wants a showroom, so that those who takes care of this project gets some money for advertising it etc.
Or have two options, a free showroom or a paid one.
The paid one could get a better spot or something.

Just my thinking

Will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Seriously? Paying to get a showroom? I don't think many people would like that idea. I mean, it's FPSC, not some offical actual E3 event. Also, less people would put their games up there, therefore it would be less successful. If they really wanted money, they could use ads. It's up to the developers of the project, but it dosen't sound like a good idea.

Seriously you guys haven't read a bit of this thread. I answered everything 3x already,OK lets do it again.

The entry will be free,it won't be just FPSC,it will be everything. You will be able submit into media and art, applications, games sections. There will be a google ad when you enter the site which you will be able to close, from there we can get money.

Metal Devil123: Mgarand has nothing to do with this,it's me and knxrb that are working on the site.

@Arenas: I currently found a program that manages all WIP/Projects, and time deadline (cant work without a deadline) and it manages all that! Its called DevProject.

Anyway I am currenltly putting all my projects in there, and working on everything. I will work hard to get a sort of alpha done, its hard to get FPSC Levels working fully in engine, but all puzzle parts are finnaly comming together slowly piece by piece.

I hope it will be done. Because i am also working on small little project for convention too [little game].

Greets,

It would have been the coolest thing ever to have a Home-style virtual conference, like in the cinema thing on Home on the PS3. I suppose you could hack FPSC a bit so it was made into a multiplayer map and you could put avi textures on screens (with the AVI being stored on a web server). In the words of Top Gear, "how hard could it be?"
