How do you make .avi files? I tried to make a revolving planet and exported it using 3DS MAX 4.2. When I tried to run it it didn't work, was the animation not long enough? help me please! Thanks in advance.

You can play animations no matter how short they are (there may be an upper limit). Have you made sure the .avi plays in windows media player or whatever you have? I've only rendered .avi's from anim8or and DOGA, I don't know how to in 3dsm. To play them in DB use the load animation and play animation commands.

I think you mean that the avi plays to fast. Use animation speed in that case.

You could also add more frames in 3DS max and stretch your animation over all the new frames.
