Many CAD type programs I have used have the ability to add vertexes to an object to create additional angles and such. Can you add vertexes in dark matter or do you have to combine objects and cut out space to do this? Thanks for the help.

P.s. Is there a better free program to use to create 3-d objects since I have already purchased DM?

If your talking about dark matter as the 3D objects creator thing, than of course there are, just check the great graphics resource. It's one of the stickied threads on the 3D Chat forum.

If I understand you correctly then you are answering the question about a better tool. How about the option to add vertexes in DM? Also does anyone have any thoughts about 3d world studio? I plan to try the trial of it when I get home tonight, but would like some user feedback if I may.

I thought adrk matter was a model pack of sorts?

Are you after a model creator/editor?

If yes, then as said look in the great graphics resource and pick from the many priced and free softwares available.

Dark Matter is collection of 3d models. There isn't any modelling program.

Look. Flying saucer.
