Why would he need to compete? An X10 guide is an excellent idea, I started doing one a while ago but never got very far due to time. I wish you luck Nilloc.

{edit}
Anything you wish to take from the X9 guide that works in X10 you're quite welcome to do so.

Nilloc, I really suggest that you email me, I already have the guide started, and it's on Google Docs, so you can just add pictures and text from there. It's much simpler, and does everything from the browser.

Some quick insight to normal maps and such in CrazyBump would benefit people too. I think that I'll look around the X10 board and see what problems people start the most threads because of.

You can change that to working on, because I have gotten a list, and started adding the necessary sections to the guide.

I would get this out as soon as you can, even if it's unfinished, that way members can point out any mistakes and help you make it better, otherwise if you wait till everything is done you might need to back through it all again.

Just a heads up.

Thanks Nickydude, right now Nilloc and I are still just coming up with ideas, and writing some things. I'll post the link here when it seems in good condition for people to review and critique (which should be soon.)

@Nilloc:
You might want to add "Mystic-Mod information and tutorials" (working on) and "FAQs"(done) to the list on the first post.

I could look over some things I "specialize" in (plots, modelling). And I could also help with Mystic Mod materials (especially scripting commands and conditions exclusive to MM).

I looked in the downloads last night but couldn't find it

Edit: I hope you don't mind: I'm going to edit the plot writing a bit as I think that it could use a little more than what it currently offers. If you want me to keep my hands off, I'm fine.

Did you get the link that I sent you, so that you can edit it?

I think so too. I guess we should wait until Nilloc responds, as he did write it, but I think that it could use a rewrite.

I got the link and I'm adding a "Possibly Temporary" addition to the plot writing section right now(labeled "Possibly Temporary" after all of the normal things).

I added Soviet176's tutorial on importing terrains made with T.ED, so you can add that to the done list, you should also add the link to the document on the first post.

I addressed that to lee when he was doing the 1.10 update. I can't remember what he said, but he pretty much told us he could not do anything about it. I hope that the 1.17 update will fix the AI issues. Infact, I may send hockeykid a mail and ask if this will be fixed. I think if Ai can look up and shoot you on a stair well, they should be able to open a door lol!

I still have yet to test the actual mod fully. I need to test it on several PC's in my house to see if it still corrupts maps in single player and multi-player.

Well, while you test that, I will finish up on replacing the recoil with Airmod's recoil system, and I'll also stop getting this thread off-topic.
