hi again, for the past few weeks im searching and researching for a way to create huge Textures and a good LOD system for it and for Terrains, i have come across GeoClipping for Terrains which have the higest rating LOD wise , and ClipMapping for the Terrain Texture that can handle up to one texture the size of your harddrive so its 10-100-1000 gb per texture for terrains and Virtual Textures aka Mega Textures for Static Geometry etc..

but from all that i rad i must admit it is not so simple for me to understand since i dont understand the math nor the pixel shader working behind these 3, so im asking here for help i tried really hard to understand it but its just beyond me, i tried to find a Library for C++ but nothing.. i did found some OpenGL code for MegaTexturing but damn.. i was so happy to find it but when i looked it at .. omg... its so wierd like combining Chinese and Japanese and Russian together ..ahh

if anyone know a paper or a library or wont mind to share some code about one of the three methods , that will be extremlly helpfull , why arent there Visual Programming for Dummies?!?!!

ty for your time, Nadav.
