Dark GDK / reading rubik's cube formulas with dark gdk?

Hi friends
I want to design a rubik's cube software, i should convert rubik's notation to graphical moves, can i do this by means of dark GDK? i need reading text ( formulas ) from a file or text, can i read txt file and wirk with it in dark GDK?

GDK have nothing to do with reading files, to read a file, this is one way of loading a file

What about reading from text box? can i have text box or something like it in my game? i should read formulas from a place to do them in graphic mode.

i don't really know what you are trying to do, and what you have done till now, what text box? windows api text box? if it's a resource use GetDlgItemText ( ), if it's a custom text box that you have made, then you should have the text already stored in a buffer, and you can easily parse it like:

The basic answer to your question is 'yes'. You can do anything you can think of with GDK, I would say GDK/DBPro would be a good choice for this kind of project.
