FPSC Classic Product Chat / Fixing EAI's slanted MP10 pistols and shotguns without FragMOTION?

Is it possible to fix the orientation of EAI's slanted Model Pack 10 pistols and shotguns without using fragmotion, as the models get 'warped' when imported into the program and so therefore are
un-editable (but fragmotion works for his rifles such as the CQBR and AK74M).

Any help?

When you import a .x into fragmotion either flip the x and z axis (mirror on x, mirror on z) to get it all back to normal. Then remember to place a tick in the flip handedness when re-exporting back out to .x, or don't flip the axis on import as above and make sure the flip handedness is unticked when you export.

Your signature has been erased by a mod. The sig needs to be 600 width maximum (x 120 height) for all of it.

see my video on youtube, I've fixed them all.

how?

import a .dbo made in FPSC (use the gun once) export, flip handedness, turn it back around so it's along the green line, facing the blue one (I believe) and then fix from there. will work fine.

if you've fixed them all then why not give him them?

Who the hell is General Failure? And why is he trying to read my hard disk?

Commico Inc, he has fixed all of them, I've chatted with him over MSN about it. And he can't give them to TerrorNation unless it's under certain circumstances I believe. Or you could just get EAI's permission, although I doubt he'd say yes as you would be redistributing his commercial media to someone who hasn't proved they rightfully own MP9 and/or MP10.

@Bugsy

Thank you for the answer.

@Commico Inc

Why should he give them to me? Not only is that piracy, but I think that his advice should enable me to do it properly too, eh ?

msn with me.

I believe that if you already have all of the necessary models, I'm aloud to give these to you, but I prefer to give these to people who I trust. I won't be sharing the guns anymore. I'm not even using them for WWC, I'm using the rigs that both me and PWP worked on together.

nope, no piracy, but when people just beg me to give them guns, I won't. I DEFINATELY don't give if you don't have MP9/10

that doesn't matter. it still took EAI hours and hours to make those models and I can't just give them out for free. EAI doesn't charge us for his models to make sure not everyone can have them, he charges us because he worked hard and wants compensation.

*facepalm*

if you spent 50 hours making an INCREDIBLE fried chicken sandwich, and were planning to sell it, you wouldn't just be willing to give the patty away because it's not a fully functional sandwich. that's still an incredible patty, and even if it's not a full sandwich, the patty's still worth a lot.

while giving away a gunmodel isn't going to be worth much to FPSC, if you have a model, than all you have to do is texture it, and you basically got an awesome quality 3d gun that all you had to do was texture.
