I can't be the only person having this problem:

Whenever I try to scan for keydown() (or up left right), or similar mouse and joy function returns, the program does not work. It builds, but it doesn't display. It just sits in the task manager invisible doing nothing. I remove those? It does everything else swimmingly. Well, this isn't going to do me a whole lot of good if my users can't CONTROL the program ... anyone know what the deal is? it's beginning to tick me off to a severe magnitude.

i'd need to see your code, but maybe youre not sync'ing if no key is pressed? does your program loop even without input? please show some code
